Guests were given a vial with a note inviting them to come dine. When they each compared their invites, they noticed that each time was different. Upon arrival to dinner, guests entered a golden box lit with glowing candles. They sat down in a single chair in front of a table of iron filled with charcoal; in front of them a wooden box. A waitress instructed them to take apart the box as they wished, and as they went along they would reveal the next course. With every level that was removed, a new course, along with all the silverware necessary to eat it was presented. The box was built specifically for the menu items offered. This dinner was an opportunity for diners to have a moment of introspection on the concept of fine dining.
